When asked about the misconceptions people thought the opposing view had, the majority of responses followed the worst media stereotypes. That is, the liberals mainly thought conservatives saw them as anti-American, immoral, and anti-religious. The conservatives mainly thought the liberals saw them as Bible-thumping racist dummies. Now here's the weird thing - the 5 highest biases people had against each other rarely coincided with what the other side thought they were. Many of those responses were also non-partisan and were roughly the same for both conservatives and liberals. Here's the top 2/3 of all answers:
